When you use our Quote, Request a Sample, or Contact forms, or when you create an account or place an order, you may give us your name, phone number, email address, project or delivery address, project details (for example linear footage and whether you are a homeowner or a contractor), how you found us, your comments, your appointment preference, and any files you upload, such as drawings. If you place an order we also receive the order details and the billing and shipping information needed to complete it.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our website we and our service providers collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the page that referred you. We use cookies and similar technologies for this purpose (see “Cookies and Analytics”).

Mobile phone number and text message consent. If you opt in to text messages, we keep your mobile number and a record of your consent (the date and time, the form, and the wording you agreed to).

How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

respond to your requests and prepare quotes and estimates;
schedule visits, deliveries, and installations;
ship samples and process and deliver orders;
send service-related messages by email, phone, or, if you opted in, text message;
provide customer support;

Mobile Information and SMS Consent

When you provide your mobile phone number and opt in to receive text messages, Modern Fence Chicago LLC uses that number to send appointment and installation reminders, quote, sample, and order updates, account notifications, customer support messages, and other service-related communications described in our SMS Terms and Conditions.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We may share your mobile number only with the service providers and messaging platforms that deliver our text messages on our behalf and with your wireless carrier, solely to operate the messaging program.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or quote.

How We Share Information

Service providers that help us run the website and our business, such as website hosting, form processing and spam protection, email delivery, analytics, maps and address lookup, text message delivery, shipping and delivery carriers, and payment processing if you place an order. Business changes, if our business is merged, sold, or reorganized, in which case information may be transferred to the new owner.

We may need to verify your identity first.

Children’s Privacy

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
